Our foodservice business supplies many of the top restaurant chains in the United States. Overview At T. Marzetti, we continue to heavily invest in our technology stack. Within the last 18 months, we have implemented SAP S4, SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Boomi as an integration & EDI platform, and Planning & Analytics within the Microsoft Azure/PowerBI application stack. We are looking for a Solution Architect to lead the technical design and integration of our various technology roadmap initiatives. Our current technology roadmap includes the implementation & integration of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Integrated Business Planning, and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems in addition to other enhancements within our current application landscape. We will also be implementing the Microsoft Power Platform environment for low/no code application development. Responsibilities Solution Design: Collaborate with all Marzetti Product Owners and IT Service Owners to understand business objectives, technical requirements, constraints, and design end-to-end solutions that align with these needs. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the architecture and design are followed throughout the project lifecycle. System Integration: Evaluate and recommend the integration of various applications and systems to create a seamless and efficient solution. Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential relevance to the company's projects and strategies. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and best practices. Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies to address them. Performance Optimization: Collaborate with IT Service Owners to optimize solution performance, scalability, and security. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a technical liaison between the Product and IT Service Owners, ensuring effective communication and understanding of technical aspects. Program & Project Management Support: Collaborate with program & project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget People Leadership: Lead the day to day activities for technical contractors, consultants, and managed service providers for medium to large projects Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university 8+ years of total IT related experience Prior experience as an application developer or software engineer (any technology stack) Experience with multiple integration frameworks and ecosystems Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions. Experience facilitating Requirements Discovery sessions with all stakeholders Experience leading technical contractors, consultants, and managed service providers Effective communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
