Salesforce Inc. seeks Solution Architect in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Understand requirements, analyze information, and design comprehensive solutions. Analyze issues and obstacles to settle root causes, weighing options, choosing appropriate courses of action and measuring and revising strategy based on results. Obtain customer acceptance by understanding and delivering strategic vision and driving the difficult conversations vital to implement business strategies. Configure Salesforce CPQ and billing features. Understand typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives. Support thought leadership and standard processes - both internally in their Community and externally in the marketplace - and advocate for change across the organization. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: Two (2) years of experience using: (1) Apex Classes/Controllers, (2) Apex Triggers, (3) SOQL, (4) SOSL, (5) Visualforce Pages/Components, (6) REST& SOAP, (7) Workflow & Approvals, (8) Force.com, (9) Eclipse, (10) Jira, (11) Salesforce Revenue Cloud. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
Salary: $168,397.00 - $192,500.00 per annum.
