About this opportunity:
We are looking for a Solution Architect to strengthen the core development capacity of the Ericsson Connected Recycling product. You will be part of a growing and dynamic development organization that develops new features using latest technology and work on improving the current architecture.
You will work on developing a product that improves the Circularity in the World. By building our platform you will help to solve an urgent need to create a trusted and circular eco system around the current linear waste eco system.
Ericsson Connected Recycling helps enterprises and service providers to create a digital-trusted and sustainable solution to improve the world.
What you will do:
You will work with the requirements and architecture for our SaaS platform, by transforming incoming business requirements to a product that can be delivered to our customers. You strive to meet targets and the highest standards of quality, security and can analyze and solve problems.
You enjoy working in teams with a track record of innovation and people skills with the ability to work with a multinational and cross-functional team setup.
We see you being creative and like to find new ideas and solutions and that you have a positive and inspiring approach and mindset in your everyday work, a key part of the work is to take part in discussions and shape the product.
You can also assume special appointments outside the Solution Architect team on assignments like attending/driving standardization work, or Ericsson centrally driven technical forum for new technology and more.
The responsibilities for our Solution Architect
• Drive development of the Ericsson Connected Recycling product.
• Leading/participating in development activities through your technical expertise.
• Secure that a business requirement/Quick study gets an adequate technical solution; a solution that fits in the product and system architecture.
• Drive the product architecture on system level; between other products and within the product modules.
• Being the technical sounding board to all stakeholders like strategic product managers.
• Secure that agreed functionality gets implemented as planned. You will be responsible for features that the Design Teams are working on i.e. owning the features.
• You keep a high communication flow with the Design Teams to prioritize user stories and if needed define a phased approach towards the Design Team delivery goal. You are responsible to answer questions and clarify requirements to the Design Team.
• You are responsible for verifying whether the Acceptance Criteria (process tollgates) are met by the Design team.
• You are frequently attending the Design Team daily stand-up meetings, Demos, contribute to retrospectives.
Core Competences:
• Hands on experience with software development of cloud-based systems
• Experience of driving the RFX processes
• Ability to break down the business requirements into technical solution
• Technical experience and competence of systems requiring high security.
• Ability to deliver results and meet customer expectations
To be successful in the role:
• +5 years within professional software development and system design
• Documented experience as a Solution Architect or similar roles.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Agile SW development.
• Positive attitude with a passion to win.
• Leadership skills
• Proficient English
Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge to work with modern software development techniques such as Flutter, Angular JS and React JS and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes, and BIG-Data skills (Hadoop).
• Proficient with peer to peer/secure code reviews
• Excellent knowledge of change and release management
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills
• Communication skills
• Coaching & mentoring skills to developers
Education Requirements:
• A university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
