The Corporate Growth (CG) team leads SPA’s business development activities in existing and emerging defense and civilian markets. CG’s core areas of responsibility include capture and proposal management, company pipeline development and maintenance, GWAC management, business intelligence research, and the formation of strategic partnerships.

 

SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Solution Architect. 

Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect, you will work directly with the CG leadership team and actively support business development activities and capture of high value contracts.  Work in partnership with the capture manager and technical experts to translate customer requirements into a compelling solution concept and vision. Responsible for facilitating solution sessions, whiteboarding, and preparing for corporate solution design reviews. This is a high-visibility position with the opportunity to collaborate extensively with senior management. This position is located in the DC Metro areas but may support efforts across all SPA offices. The Solution Architect will be expected to:

Lead development of innovative and customer driven solutions for single award, IDIQ, and task order proposals.Manage all aspects of solution development, including facilitating technical solution sessions and identify specific strengths SPA can offer for the customer benefit. Leverage innovative thinking, thought leadership, and knowledge of technology and solutions to enhance current offerings and translate into proposals/white papers.Prepare and present solutions to leadership during solution design reviews for high value captures.Lead design and development of key solution artifacts that will be used for proposal development.Support and may lead the development of the technical and or management volume for proposals.Ability to shift priorities and support evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years solution development/architect experience across multiple Federal customer environments supporting efforts >$100M in value Ability to analyze information and make sound observations and recommendations quicklyBachelor’s DegreeExpert knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to conceptualize graphicsStrong facilitation skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting solutions and technical conceptsComfortable working with and briefing solution concepts to senior management Able to work flexible schedules, including long hours and weekendsCurrent Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one); TS/SCI clearance a plus
