Mobomo is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect (SA) to join our team in supporting a Federal Agency under the Department of Commerce. This position performs a critical role in providing all necessary technical expertise to support a Federal Agency’s network and cloud infrastructure. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for providing thought leadership of 25 staff members all while managing the client and ensuring requirements are met on schedule and within budget. The SA will provide technical oversight and expertise in supporting the organization's infrastructure including Microsoft Office365, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other XaaS services. Responsibilities also include the implementation of major initiatives of the mentioned services to include the design, project planning, testing, and implementation of additional capabilities as part of future initiatives identified by the organization.Responsibilities + Architect and design complex IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across network, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments + Leverage deep knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to drive solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs + Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security, and business stakeholders) to define and implement technical solutions that align with business goals + Interface regularly with the Program Manager and the client to assist in resolving issues, improve processes, and increase productivity + Lead proof of concept or studies to support new business and IT initiatives  + Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of other engineers  + Foster strong communication channels between technical and non-technical teams to drive successful project outcomes + Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution proposals, and deployment models, to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance Minimum Qualifications: + 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, design, and implementation + 3+ years of experience in a Solution Architect role, particularly within enterprise environments + Proven experience in architecting complex IT solutions, including network infrastructure, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, O365helor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field + Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a clearance + Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are a plus + Must be on EST About Mobomo: Mobomo is a full-service DevOps agency dedicated to creating elegant solutions to solve complex problems.
