Solution Architect - Enterprise CMDB and Asset Management Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Local * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect specializing in Enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) including Asset Management support for the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The candidate will lead requirements gathering, design, proposing, and implementation of solutions for government clients. This individual will bring deep expertise in ServiceNow and demonstrate exceptional skills in creating white papers, technical proposals, and strategies for government enterprise CMDB and Asset solutions. The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model. **Hybrid (Chantilly, VA 3+ DAYS, HOME 1-2 DAYS A WEEK)** **Chantilly, VA / Remote** **Responsibilities:** As a Solutions Architect, you will work with a Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, Asset Management SME, and Technical Architect to lead and participate in meetings and workshops with Government stakeholders to define and prioritize CMDB and asset management use cases **. CACI expects approximately 15% travel for in person workshops to be held at Scott Air Force base as the most likely location.** You will be accountable for the following key responsibilities: • **Solution Architecture:** • Design and implement scalable enterprise solutions for CMDB and IT Asset Management (ITAM) using ServiceNow and other relevant platforms. • Define best practices for CMDB/ITAM governance, data quality, and integrations with other enterprise systems. • Conduct system and architecture reviews to ensure optimal performance and alignment with client requirements. + Lead development of use case artifacts which may include requirements, project plans, architecture drawings, bills of material (BOMs), labor estimates, etc. + Perform analysis of alternatives of the top design choices. The software that will be used includes Axonius, ServiceNow ITOM, and Flexera. • **Technical Leadership:** • Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, design solutions, and gain approvals. • Mentor teams on ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, ITAM processes, and implementation strategies. • **Proposal Development:** • Draft comprehensive technical white papers, solution proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFIs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client and government standards. • Develop innovative and cost-effective strategies to meet government requirements • **Client Engagement:** • Serve as a trusted advisor to government clients, providing insights and recommendations for enterprise CMDB/ITAM strategies. • Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and emerging technologies in CMDB and ITAM. **Qualifications:** + DoD Secret Clearance. + Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (computer science, engineering, development, cyber security, etc.) and 10+ years relevant experience. • **Technical Expertise:** • Strong hands-on experience with **ServiceNow** , including CMDB, ITOM Visibility including Discovery and Service Mapping, and integrations. • Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and their application in enterprise environments. • Experience implementing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models. • Proficiency in creating system diagrams, architecture models, and technical documentation. • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management. • **Government Proposal Writing:** • Proven track record of developing successful white papers, proposals, and bid responses for government clients. • Familiarity with government procurement processes, FAR/DFAR regulations, and contract vehicles. • **Soft Skills:** • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. **Desired Skills:** + Experience with Axonius and Flexera software + Experience working in the Department of Defense - ______________________________________________________________________________ **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
