Job Title: NATS Solution Architect

Company Overview: Our Client is a global leader in Forestry Processing committed to innovation and sustainability. We are introducing NATS (Neural Autonomic Transport System), an open-source messaging middleware written in GO, to enhance communication across devices, clouds, and systems. This platform will run in parallel to our existing AWS EKS infrastructure.

What the Client Wants: As a NATS Solution Architect, you will lead the architectural design and development of solutions utilizing NATS messaging middleware. You will be responsible for infrastructure setup, maintenance, and developing connectors to consume data efficiently from NATS.

Requirements:

Expertise in NATS messaging middleware, including infrastructure setup, maintenance, and development. Proven ability to architect solutions using NATS to facilitate communication across distributed systems. Experience in developing connectors and integrating applications with NATS for efficient data consumption. Ability to thrive under tight deadlines on high-visibility initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Mentor teams on NATS best practices, encouraging innovative thinking and scalability. Establish guidelines, best practices, and use cases for NATS integration without disrupting existing systems. Provide a consultative, big-picture perspective on architecture and development using NATS. Drive the adoption and maturity of NATS within the company through effective training and thought leadership.

Vision of Success:

90 Days: Gain a deep understanding of GP's infrastructure and initiate key NATS integration projects. 180 Days: Successfully implement NATS solutions, improving communication efficiency across systems. 1 Year: Become the recognized expert on NATS within the company, driving strategic initiatives and fostering innovation.

Sizzle: Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pioneering NATS solutions at a global scale. Play a crucial role in maturing our Client's communication infrastructure, influencing technology decisions, and empowering teams for success in a rapidly evolving landscape.
