Position Purpose:
The Life Science & Personal Care Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting a team of account managers by serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for Ecolab’s digital solutions. This includes electronic batch record (EBR) execution systems, electronic note/logbooks, and cleaning validation software solutions tailored to the Life Science and Personal Care industries. The consultant partners with customers to identify areas for improvement, implement digital technologies, and guide their transition to modern, streamlined processes.

This role encompasses the entire customer journey—from initial discovery to solution demonstration, to workshop and planning for implementation—driving business growth through expert technical support and close collaboration with the account management team. Supported by industry experts and technical teams, the consultant ensures the success of Ecolab’s digital solutions in a fast-evolving market.

What You Will Do:

Act as the SME for digital solutions, including EBR systems, electronic note/log books, and cleaning validation.

Support account managers in growing Ecolab’s digital business by delivering technical expertise and value propositions to customers.

Lead business development activities, including identifying opportunities, engaging stakeholders, and advancing digital transformation projects.

Collaborate with Life Sciences customers to identify and confirm process improvement areas that will impact their bottom line by implementing our digital solutions.

Present and demo digital solutions to customers, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring alignment with their operational goals.

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with account managers and other team members.

Provide guidance on GMP-compliant processes related to manufacturing, cleaning, sanitization, and validation.

Assist with troubleshooting, and optimization of digital solutions for customer facilities.

Build and foster strong professional relationships within the Life Sciences and Personal Care industries to drive adoption of Ecolab’s digital technologies.

Regularly partner with marketing, technical, and sales teams to refine messaging and improve solution offerings.

Position Details:

This is a remote-based role open to candidates located in the U.S., with responsibilities extending to global collaboration as needed.



Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or Information Technology.

2 years of experience selling SaaS software to Life Science and or the Personal Care industries.

Familiarity with electronic batch records (EBR), electronic note/logbooks, cleaning validation solutions or similar software solutions that at GXP related.

Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives.

Willingness to travel 50%+ within North America based on customer needs.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering.

6 years of practical experience in the Life Science and or Personal Care industries.

Experience/Understanding of validation processes and regulatory compliance.

Expertise in EBR systems, electronic note/log books, and digital process improvements.

Proven experience with manufacturing process optimization.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $123,400-$185,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
