The Opportunity

The Solution Developer will develop technology solutions to solve short-term tactical challenges within Program Delivery and to promote the long-term strategic success of Program Delivery’s operations.  This position will need to both work independently and also engage collaboratively with stakeholders within Program Delivery and across the organization to design, develop, implement, maintain, and document technology-based solutions.  This position will also gather and use data to identify needs, measure solution effectiveness, and support a data-driven decision making process. 

What We Need

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; three (3) plus years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency with a wide range of software, programming languages, and cloud services.Three (3) years of experience with Python programming.Three (3) years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web-related technologies.Two (2) years of experience with SQL and related technologies.Ability to acquire and maintain working knowledge of a wide range of applications/systems, in a highly dynamic environment.Experience gathering data, analyzing data, and producing effective visualization of data to promote data-driven decision making.Demonstrated skills in problem solving, critical thinking and excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to communicate technical language in layperson's terms. Demonstrated ability to interact with others on a collaborative team toward a shared project goal. Ability to effectively prioritize between competing needs and produce results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Experience in gathering requirements from users and working on a project all the way through implementation and maintenance.Ability to work independently, establish realistic goals, and deliver work on schedule.Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.  Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing.
