The Solution Development Lead will apply their experience of working with Convey/Sort solutions for new and existing Dematic customers. This role involves building and developing customer relationships, setting strategy, developing solutions, and developing financial models to sell “best in class” solutions to Dematic customers. In addition, candidates must have Convey/Sort engineering background in design, implementation, and management experience that can be applied to our customers Distribution Centers. The Solution Development Lead will need to work with various departments of Dematic to develop safe, low risk, creative and competitive solutions to meet a client’s needs. Where appropriate, they will present the results to Dematic and their Customers related to final designs. This employee can be based near any Dematic location in the USA.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,000 - $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

Facilitate conversations on convey/sort design and implementation.Assess new requirements and develop solutions to best meet those requirementsResolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independentlyGenerate all costing workbooks for opportunities assigned for solutionEstimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement very complex projectDevelop project plan incorporating all project variablesDevelop and document the data needed and be able to generate a proposal documentMonitor assignment schedule and partner with Sales on missing information for assignment completionAssist with the maintenance of the Dematic proposal boiler platesManage multiple priorities and work with key stakeholders to ensure that all assignments are not only accurate, but are completed on time, according to target completion datesConduct periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against goalsPrepare weekly status reports on all project activitiesDevelop pre-sales support activities as neededTravel around 20% to different customer sites in the USA

What We are Looking For:
