Join us! **Position Summary:** AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB Products into clusters in Linux operating systems. The Cloud Engineer must have advanced knowledge of Unix systems and shell scripting. - Experience and knowledge of some of NoSQL databases such as (Cassandra, Memsql, CockroachDB, Redis e etc.) is needed. - Cloud Engineer should be implementing, managing, and monitoring company’s cloud environments and solutions. - Experience in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems and good understanding of multi-vendor Cloud offerings. - Experience in cloud-native network, storage, and virtualization technologies Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with IaaS, Config-as-Code, Policy-as-Code and CI/CD tools - bit bucket, jfrog, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible - Experience with modern performance monitoring and diagnostics tools (examples: Splunk, Splunk ITSI, AppD, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, etc.) - Understand relevant application technologies and development life cycles. - Operational Process & Routines: Strong adherence to operating controls, risk management, process review and creation, documentation and collaborative knowledge sharing. - Inter-personal skills and Communication skills. - Ability to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations, manage competing priorities and adapt to change in project scope. - Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct response. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for providing day-to-day administration support and maintenance for existing and new cloud applications in production and non-production environments. + Perform debugging, tuning and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration aspect of the ElastiCash platform. + Write shell scripts for automation of installation and support of cloud ElastiCash applications + Working with using DevOps tool on Horizon platform to create, maintain and execute operational jobs. + Identify inefficiencies in current and implement improved solutions + Assist in planning and implementing capacity and resource expansion to ensure scalability of cloud platform supporting applications. + Assist in planning and performing product upgrades and migrations to new solution & integrating with third party ecosystems. **Required** **Skills:** - Primary Skills: Linux Administration and AWS Cloud Engineering - Production Support for System Administration - Cloud engineering, Operations and Devops capabilities ​- Cloud Operations and Support - Azure Certification ​- DevOps - Shell/Ansible Scripting **Desired Skills:** - RedHat Openshift/Kubernetes Certifications - Cloud(Azure/AWS/GCP) Certifications. **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 **Pay Transparency details** US - NJ - Jersey City - 101 Hudson St - 101 Hudson (NJ2101) Pay and benefits information Pay range $100,000.00 - $153,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
