The team is determined to enter the Public Services domain in Europe with our market leading portfolio of products ranging from Device Clients, RAN, Core and MCPTX Application Services.
The Solution Managers sit in the Solutions team under the leadership of the Solutions Director and play a key role in SNEs mission as the team who interface directly with our customers to understand their current products and evolution needs and can explain the technical advantages and superiority of our solutions.

Role and Responsibilities
You will own the technical relationship for the development and lifecycle for MCPTX EMS solutions and Network Performance and are the trusted advisor in all technical discussions with both internal and external partners and customers. Responsible for establishing excellent relationships with key influencers as well as decision makers and managing the end-to-end process for products and services
Working with internal team members to develop the MCX feature roadmaps aligned with customer requirements, product evolution and 3GPP releases.
Stay updated on the latest developments in the Critical market, Industry standards and releases to maintain a strong technical understanding.
Define, monitor and manage KPIs related to MCPTX solutions, including voice, video, and data services. Establish and track performance benchmarks for critical service reliability, latency, availability and quality
Analyse real-time and historical KPI/SPI data to identify performance bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Create detailed performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and incident RCA findings.
Lead design workshops and presentations on the EMS solutions to demonstrate the product functionality and benefits.
Support programme technical reviews such as PRM and TRM to present and explain how new MCX features will introduce additional FCAPS attributes.
Collaborate with R&D, and Service Delivery to ensure ongoing refinement of KPI targets and processes ensuring all documentation is updated inline with sw upgrades and new feature introduction.
Coordinate Feature Requests, gathering all required details to enable R&D and commercial teams to develop timely and accurate responses.
Collaborate with peer Solution Managers to regularly review the complete e2e ecosystem and ensure any limitation or risks which could affect performance or functionality is highlighted and handled within the Program.
Support customers with NBI/SBI integration of Samsung EMS elements into overarching NMS and analytical systems to support FCAPS functions.
Support customers with integration of Samsung KPI/SPI metrics into 3rd party analytics tools and generate any capacity and performance reports as needed to ensure SLA/critical metric objectives are being achieved.
Responsible for establishing excellent relationships with key influencers as well as decision makers and running the end-to-end process for product lifecycle.
What we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
SC Clearance (valid current SC clearance is preferred but must be eligible for SC)
A comprehensive background knowledge in Telecom FCAPS management, ideally with Mission Critical solutions on 4G/5G networks.
In depth knowledge on OSS/OAM protocols (e.g. SNMP,MIB, REST, SOAP, TL1, Netconf) and experience with design and integration to multi vendor architectures.
Excellent understanding of 3GPP KPIs for Mission Critical Services (3GPP TS22.179) to support development of analytic reports.
Experienced management of EMS Functions on Virtualised and Containerised architectures.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with written and spoken English.
Ability to maintain high standards or work and remain adaptable to changes in a dynamic working environment.
You have an Engineering degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecoms or a related field.
You have validated experience in OSS and Performance analytics in a similar or related position for the last 10yrs
Understanding of standard methodologies for ensuring the security and accuracy of user and system data throughout its lifecycle.
What does success look like?Highly motivated and self driven to understand technical issues and provide explanations suitable to the target audience.
Coordinate and conduct design workshops to ensure all customer needs are included in the solution delivery plan and aligned with all stakeholders.
Collaborate with PMO functions to deliver timely updates on project achievements and ensure all risks are categorised and resolved in the appropriate reports.
Proactively lead Samsung solution KPI/SP (as generated by Services colleagues) investigations to determine RCA and resolutions for any network degradation or deviation.
Develop strong and effective working relationship with customers and partners
The interview process
Following the screening of candidate CVs there will be a 2 stage recruitment process covering technical and suitability topics:
The technical interview will involve candidates demonstrating their knowledge of OSS solutions and how EMS nodes integrate into these network architectures. This could involve walkthroughs of OSS Network architectures and topologies highlighting relevant interfaces and protocols or talking through real life examples of generating performance reports through a range of EMS tools to investigate network performance issues.
The suitability interview will be a wider review at the candidate’s suitability and availability to accept the role if offered and their motivation to join Samsung. It will cover topics such as: Willingness to be UK SC cleared (mandatory), understanding of the role, flexibility to work at various project or customer locations and cultural “fit” into a small highly motived team.
