Core Responsibilities & Duties: + Participate in cross functional requirements collections session and document requirements + Document shipment lifecycle steps for various current, emerging, and proposed products + Prepare and distribute regularly scheduled and ad hoc progress reports against current and future projects + Maintain and publish project calendar + Participate in similar improvement initiatives across all Forward Air lines of business + Create & maintain information organization and sharing process for participants and other stakeholders + Create materials to present & distribute findings to sales, operations, and other SMEs in a concise, consistent format + Assist in detailed network and shipment yield analysis against customer shipment data sets utilizing Microsoft Excel and or Microsoft Access and other PC and cloud-based tools + Test identified areas of opportunity based on output from analysis + Maintain and improve communication processes + Update databases and process with provided Forward Air analysis inputs used in analysis as required + Prepare data for pricing analysis Qualifications: + Experience communicating to all levels of an organization + Experience coordinating cross functional deliverables + Experience with data analysis + Understanding of the impact of multiple variables on yield Skills: + Strong communication skills + Data analysis skills + Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including teams + Familiarity with and aptitude to develop to expert level with Microsoft Excel. Emphasis on Data functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Data validation, Data Relationships and more. Alternatively, similar Microsoft Access skills + Ability to present findings to SMEs and other audiences with a vested interest in the results + The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic + Must have the ability to work in a fast paced/high volume environment + Strong aptitude to learn customer needs and industry trends + Excellent problem-solving abilities + Strong written and verbal communication skills Forward Air is an Equal Opportunity employer.
