Solutions Analyst

The SEI Investment Management Unit (IMU) has an immediate opportunity for a Solutions Analyst supporting SEI’s mutual fund offerings domiciled in the U.S., Canada and Ireland (UCITS), as well as Collective and Common Funds.  The IMU is a global team that develops and manages SEI’s investment management solutions and supports all fund distribution channels across SEI’s asset management business.

 

What you’ll do:

 

As a Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for the coordination of project management activities across internal teams and third parties that support SEI’s mutual fund offerings.  The successful candidate will draw on their professional experience and organizational relationships to coordinate new product launches, implement changes to investment products, and maintain operational oversight of SEI’s mutual fund offering.  Specific activities for the role include:

Utilize project management tools to coordinate, manage, and track progress of investment management infrastructure changes including but not limited to fund launches, liquidations, mergers and sub advisor transitions.Assist in the design and implementation of asset management initiatives including the enhancement of existing investment product infrastructure, automating fund operations, fund administrative service support, and the adoption of new fund technologies.Coordinate across internal functional teams and third parties to execute project activities related to investment product initiatives.  Willingness to research questions and requests with multiple stakeholders including fund administrators, custodians, investment strategy teams, legal, compliance, outside vendors and business partners.Directly engage with investment sub advisors during the on-boarding process and on an ongoing basis to support our multi-manager investment model.  Ongoing operational oversight and management of SEI’s mutual fund offerings domiciled in the U.S., Canada and Ireland (UCITS), as well as Collective and Common Funds, and Alternative and Cayman investment product offerings.Compile and organize information for recurring internal management reporting, investment product metrics, and quarterly board materials.Serve in a support role for daily cash management activities including handling bank wires, collateral management, and trading equity index futures for the purpose of cash equitization.Review existing fund processes and procedures, make recommendations for improvements, and work with the appropriate groups to implement and document process enhancements on an ongoing basis.Overall need for problem solving and issue resolution related to investment products and solutions.

 

 

What we need from you:

 

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of investment product operations and the primary service providers supporting the lifecycle of a fund. In addition, the candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related subjects.A minimum of 3 years of investment product experience (including fund accounting, fund administration, trading, or mutual fund operations. Experience in fund distribution, investments, fund accounting, or other specialized investment management experience.)Demonstrable project management experience facilitating collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
