We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect with a focus on Developer Experience (DevEx) and Automation to join our growing team. As a Solutions Architect - Developer Experience & Automation, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing tools and solutions that improve developer productivity and streamline software development lifecycles. Your goal will be to create seamless, automated environments that enable developers to focus on innovation while delivering high-quality products quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Design and Implement Developer Tooling: Architect and build scalable, reliable, and intuitive tools that enhance the development experience, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and developer self-service platforms.
Optimize Development Workflows: Analyze and identify bottlenecks in development processes. Propose and implement automation solutions to reduce manual intervention, increase speed, and improve overall efficiency.
Collaborate with Various Teams: Build positive relationships with software developers, DevOps, and product managers to understand their needs and align solutions with business goals.
Champion Automation Best Practices: Advocate for automation across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), automated testing, and deployment automation.
Platform Integration: Design and implement integrations with various platforms (e.g., cloud services, version control systems, API management tools) to provide a unified and efficient developer experience.
Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams in using automation tools and standard methodologies. Conduct workshops and training to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in developer tooling, automation frameworks, and platform engineering, evaluating new technologies and recommending their adoption when beneficial.
Key Qualifications:Experience:
5+ years proven experience in Solutions Architecture, with a focus on developer tooling, automation, and cloud-based environments.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve and overcome complex architectural and automation challenges.
Collaboration: Strong communication skills with the ability to work with collaborators from different teams and present technical solutions to non-technical individuals.
Preferred Qualifications:Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, etc.), Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman),
Awareness of rapidly evolving AI/ML solutions which may benefit Developers.
Experience with DevSecOps practices, including integrating security testing into the development pipeline.
Familiarity with open-source developer tools and community contributions.
