Job Description:

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as an AI Solutions Director at GDIT.

Our work depends on an AI Solutions Director joining our team to develop and guide Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technique and technology solutions in support of our Government customers.
 

The responsibilities of this role may include developing AI/ML solutions, leveraging AI/ML to better optimize data, applying data mining techniques perform statistical analysis and build high-quality prediction models, or obtaining data through advanced computerized models and extrapolation of data patterns through advanced algorithms to explain how the information will influence the specific project will be an essential function to providing customers a better comprehension of the data.


HOW A SOLUTIONS DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Create, Design and develop AI/ML enabled solutions and capabilities within the Federal Civilian market.Analyze Request for Information/Quote/Proposal (RFI/RFQ/RFP) requirements and develop responsive solutions around AI/ML to provide customers with efficient, smart and safe utilization of the technologySupport the pursuit of AI/ML opportunities with in the Federal Civilian Market with customer meetings, solution discussions, proposal contributions and engaging with internal sales and business leaders to identify opportunities for GDIT growth.Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleaguesMay be assigned as a task or project leader on programs for short to long-term assignments (Not a people manager)


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelors degreeRequired Experience: 5+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Ability to create exceptionally written, compliant, and compelling proposal narrative that best presents GDIT’s solutions and approaches within the government’s requirements and evaluation criteria. Ability to conceptualize and communicate or develop rich graphic visuals that help to strengthen the GDIT story and clearly and effectively communicate concepts and approaches. Experience with technical leadership and project management. Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment. Foundational knowledge in the following disciplines:Statistics: Understanding of statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.Linear Algebra: Understanding of deep learning algorithms.Calculus: Understanding of optimization techniques to develop data analytic algorithms.Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and DOE "Q" clearanceLocation: Hybrid work location between the GDIT facility at 3150 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA.US Citizenship Requirement for the position

The likely salary range for this position is $188,831 - $255,477. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
