As an integral part of Trial Interactive Product initiatives, a TI Solutions Architect is an employee of TransPerfect who assists the implementation, operations, sales, and product organizations throughout the entire process of understanding the customer's business and technical requirements, collaborating on the sales strategy, delivering strong solution presentations, building a configuration of the product, and ensuring the ultimate success of the customer. Strong teamwork and collaboration with sales, product management, and operations is required to be effective in this role.

DESCRIPTION

The successful Software Solutions Architect will:

1.    As a member of our Technical Services team, your primary responsibility will be the configuration of Trial Interactive enterprise software and solutions. You will work in concert with operations throughout the implementation cycle.

2.    Design and document new configurations and solutions for Trial Interactive software.

3.    Create and maintain User Requirements Specification and Configuration Specifications for implementing customers.

4.    Act as the product configuration and domain expert in all relevant sales cycles with specific responsibility for demonstrating the product to prospects and existing customers.

5.    Work with sales on requirements gathering and software configurations for demonstrations and respond to functional and technical questions.

6.    Act as a conduit between the Sales team and Operations and Product teams. Clearly convey customer/prospects business requirements from the field to the Operations and Product teams.

7.    Develop and script product and solution demonstrations.

8.    Ideally, evangelize the Trial Interactive vision through product demonstrations, webinars/seminars, conferences and account specific initiatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1.    Bachelor or university degree, or equivalent work experience.

2.    2+ years of solutions consulting, software product configuration, or similar experience.

3.    2+ years’ experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory, quality, or content management.

4.    2+ years’ experience in B2B web applications, business to business, and mobile apps a plus.

5.    Experience in the implementation of new software and configurations, including change management and rollout to large, enterprise organizations.

6.    Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for data and system integration

7.    Proven track record of leading systems implementation projects for life sciences as a project manager or similar role.

8.    Self-motivated and tenacious, with a strong desire to achieve

9.    Strong presentation skills and experience are essential

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1.    Previous experience working with a CRO and maintaining a TMF/eTMF. Knowledge of all phases and requirements of a clinical trial process.

2.    Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to build a deep understanding of a customer’s needs and guide them to a technical solution.

3.    Fundamental understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based technology and business models

4.    Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite

5.    Strong interpersonal communication skills, internally and externally, especially with customers and sales-force. 

6.    Result Oriented, biased to action.

7.    Experience with GxP and software validation process and regulations is desired.
