Position OverviewQinetiQ US seeks a Solutions Architect Lead with expertise in application development, DevSecOps, and multi-cloud architecture. The individual will lead technical implementation of scalable and performant solutions to meet strategic internal and delivery objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in free and open source software (FOSS) integration, CI/CD pipeline development, and containerization (microservice) technologies.
The Solutions Architect Lead will work alongside portfolio managers to understand operational needs and the business development team to identify opportunities for market insertion. This role requires the ability to understand technical requirements and work as both and independent contributor and team lead.
ResponsibilitiesThis individual will:
Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, using a variety of DevOps toolsMaintain applications running in a containerized environment using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and RancherIntegrate new and complex data sources through workflows performing data processing and standardizationDevelop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)Lead automated and performance test activities using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeterLead multi cloud application deployment across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft AzureDesign, build, and maintain extract, transform and load (ETL) workflows using tools such as Apache NiFiDevelop visualization suite using open source and licensed metrics and monitoring toolsIntegrate complex applications with external systems, services, and data providersIncorporate new functionality and capabilities to data workflows to enhance user experience Required Qualifications Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: TS/SCI w/ Poly #qinetiqclearedjobsExperience generating algorithms for object detection, classification, and semantic processingExperience utilizing AI/ML frameworks for model development, training, and refiningExperience with software development and data engineering.Proficient in high-level programming language (Java, Python, C/C++).Comfortable in Linux environments (including on-prem and cloud).Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
