The Solutions Architecture Director in the Modern Workplace will strategically develop and implement a comprehensive vision aligned with the company's overarching objectives. This role is critical in providing transformative leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to drive organizational success.

 

Position Overview

The Enterprise Sales Engineering Leader will strategically develop and implement a comprehensive vision aligned with the company's overarching objectives. This role is critical in providing transformative leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to drive organizational success.

  

Strategic Responsibilities Technical Solutions and Engineering

Lead comprehensive technical solutions engineering for Black Box products, services, and solutions Provide direct engineering support and implementation services for complex systems, applications, and network infrastructures across a diverse customer portfolio Design and deliver professional system consulting, solution development, and strategic sales presentations

Organizational Leadership and Performance

Conduct strategic organizational planning and skill gap assessments to cultivate a high-performance sales engineering team Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous team development and operational excellence Manage budget development and analytics for the solutions engineering organization Collaborate cross-functionally to advance strategic initiatives and organizational improvements

Sales and Business Alignment

Collaborate closely with sales executives to ensure solutions engineering alignment and deliverable optimization Engage with sales managers on enterprise opportunities to assess proposal feasibility, product availability, and implementation strategies Partner with Enterprise Accounts management to establish and achieve critical business objectives, including revenue and gross profit growth targets

  

Required Qualifications Technical Expertise

Advanced proficiency in solutions, services, software, and configuration tools Comprehensive understanding of technical ecosystems and emerging industry trends

Leadership and Interpersonal Capabilities

Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage diverse technical teams Outstanding presentation, communication, and organizational capabilities Superior collaboration and customer service orientation Robust business acumen with strong financial and accounting knowledge

Professional Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related technical discipline Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant technology leadership experience
