Smartsheet is looking for a Solutions Consultant to drive quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction within our Consulting business by assisting customers with designing, building, and implementing Smartsheet solutions to solve their business objectives. This role is specifically involved in the post sales engagements with our customer base. As a Solutions Consultant, you will work with Smartsheet customers and partners on engagements to convert business requirements into Smartsheet solutions. As a Subject Matter Expert on Smartsheet functionalities, you will propose solutions for various use cases that span different industries and business groups. The right candidate is a strong communicator, is detail-oriented, interested in technology solutions at scale and is driven by making an impact for our customers.
You will report to the Manager, Consulting. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
You Will:
Lead multiple concurrent engagements to implement Smartsheet across a variety of client industries and use cases, ensuring your clients are gaining the most value from the Smartsheet platform Lead discovery sessions to understand client's current state processes, business challenges, and future state requirements to design a custom Smartsheet solution that achieves their desired business outcomes Build Smartsheet solutions via solution prototyping, iterative build sprints, compelling client demonstrations, and collecting and incorporating client feedback Manage all aspects of your projects, including, but not limited to, timeline, deliverables, scope, budget, and client relations Serve as an advisor on best practices and capabilities of the Smartsheet platform at scale across a variety of industries and business functions Collaborate with other consulting team members, both on projects and around personal development. Participate in the onboarding mentor program, both as a mentee and mentor Review and validate solution designs by performing internal solution testing, creating customer-facing user acceptance test scripts, and facilitating end-user acceptance testing with customer stakeholders Identify product and services expansion opportunities for Smartsheet with the customer's user base & collaborate with the account team to influence the account strategy Provide post-engagement feedback to cross functional account team members around potential additional product and services opportunities for the customer Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role Other duties as assigned
You Have:
A minimum of 4-5 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education Willing to travel periodically (up to 40%) based on customer and business need High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines in order to promote a collaborative environment and superior team performance Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and effectively communicate with them about the engagement and if there are potential risks/blockers in a proactive way Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end user personnel in large enterprises Passion for working with leading edge, web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet’s benefits, use cases, and business and technical elements Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment with the ability to quickly adjust between clients and use cases Hands-on working experience in the configuration, customization, and implementation of SaaS applications Business process optimization experience Experience with Agile project management methodologies and/or software development lifecycle methodologies Management or Technology Consulting experiencePerks & Benefits:

Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer.
California & New York: $94,500 to $143,100
All other US States: $87,500 to $132,500.
