The Solutions Delivery Strategists are responsible for designing and delivering business-focused system, solutions, processes and associated standards, and for working with developers and vendors to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented within the existing or planned technology architecture and framework.  These positions are responsible for both mainframe and distributed computing environments' delivery.

Responsibilities:

Resolves complex problems or transactions where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processesTranslates department vision into roadmap items and technical solutionsFully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process however will require input on more complex issuesMaintains an understanding of Cenlar’s different businesses and the related economicsProvides technical guidance and consulting from strategy to planning to issue resolutionServes as the solutions delivery partner. In partnership with other IT teams, designs systems and solutions, liaises between Technology and business teamsReviews technical events, issues, and problems as contributions to ‘continuous improvement’ revisions to the technical strategyCommunicates business objectives and requirements to software vendors and internal development teams clearly and effectivelyUnderstands and mitigates the technical design on security, performance, and data privacy through reviews of proposed configurations and system implementationsIn partnership with other IT teams, designs and develops scalable solutions according to best practices and Cenlar architecture guidelinesTypically referred to as technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resourceDevelops and exercises business plans, policies, and procedures, and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficienciesTechnical expert seen as key advisor on significant business/product decisionsMay directly manage the workflow of othersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience10+ years of experience related experience requiredPrimary focus of role is on day-to-day operational execution, although roles will also include contributing to strategic planning within area of expertiseIndividual at this level has a clear understanding of the firm’s different businesses and the related economicsExperience partnering and collaborating with client and business teamsExperience partnering with technology, project management, product, security, and other similar teamsAbility to form relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to influence and drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders and decision makersFull understanding of software architecture including various architectural techniques and enterprise design systemsFunctional expertise, including multiple methodologies and tools, and ongoing awareness of evolution within the industry that breeds innovation across the team
