Solutions Engineer

NOTE:  This position is a hybrid position with 2 days each week in the Alexandria, Virginia office required


Position Overview:

 

Reporting to the Customer Experience Officer, this role is primarily responsible for designing custom solutions for clients who are migrating their IPMS to Equinox Corporate +. This position acts as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for Equinox Corporate + projects.  It works closely with the sales team, product team and developers to promote the sale and successful implementation of Equinox Corporate +.  It leads the technical aspect of sales presentations, demonstrating product capabilities, and configuring demonstrations to align with prospective client challenges and requirements. It also collaborates with product development teams to tailor technology solutions for specific client needs. Solutions engineers have a strong technical understanding of key products paired with an empathetic, customer-minded attitude. 


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Designing and implementing technical solutions and custom configurations tailored to client requirements Acting as Project Manager for Equinox Corporate + projects and leading project timelines with precision for successful solution implementation Coordinating and collaborating with cross-departmental efforts to ensure solution compatibility and success Participating in pre-sales meetings with clients and the sales team Writing statements of work defining the client requirements and technical solutions Organizing and conducting client workshops and performing business analytics to ensure successful solution implementation and business efficiency through their knowledge of both IT and business function. Performing quality assurance testing to support the successful implementation of technological solutions. Communicating with clients about requirements for data imports and flagging any issues in dataset to customers. Formatting and preparing the client data within Excel ready for import to Equinox Corporate +. Providing training to clients on Equinox Corporate +. Mentoring junior engineers and leading project teams Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience required. The role demands a combination of technical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members:

 

Knowledge of intellectual property preferred. 5+ years experience with software development, system architecture, and design required Experience in Project Management required Working knowledge of Salesforce required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Outlook and similar productivity tools. Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Asana preferred. Knowledge of computer programming, database structures desired but not mandatory. Knowledgeable in business hardware and software platforms to ensure compatibility and efficiency Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact diplomatically with all levels of law firm and corporate personnel. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills Experience with project management tools and methodologies Excellent understanding of project management techniques, methods, and best practices Articulating complex technical concepts in an understandable way to clients and stakeholders. Understanding of business processes and the ability to define solutions to support and improve those processes Building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions. Adjusting to new challenges and changes in technology or project requirements swiftly.
