What You’ll Do
We have an exciting Systems Engineer opportunity on our team. In this role, you will cover Charter Communications in a pre-sales technical role. You will be able to gain access to the full palette of Cisco technologies and applications in the exciting go-to-market and enterprise technologies area. In addition to technological proficiency, and the ability to learn quickly and stay current, your interpersonal, presentation and troubleshooting skills will evoke passion and confidence.

Who You Are
To be successful in this exciting opportunity, you will have a good understanding of the Cable industry and the direction/trends in the SP Routing, Optical, and consolidation of IP and Optical solution! Check out the details:
Perform technical presentations to Charter decision makers and influencersAbility to qualify new opportunities and work with the extended team to go after these opportunitiesEstablish relationships and collaborate with internal resources such as Business Units, technical specialists, architects etcEnsure Cisco technical initiatives are tied into the customer's strategy and goalsBe the voice of Service Provider within CiscoFocus on contributing to the long-term success of CharterAbility to learn quickly and stay current with the latest business and technology innovations in the Cable industry
Minimum Qualifications
BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent3+ years related experience in a fast-paced high technology environmentCisco product or equivalent experience In-depth knowledge of baseline SE skills and in-depth knowledge in more than one area of specialization
Preferred Qualifications
Strong operating experience in more than one of the following areas of specialization: Routing, Optical, NSO, Automation, and Network ManagementUnderstanding of business dynamics for tier 1 service providers and how new Routing solutions can positively impact their operating costsUnderstanding and conversant about company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
