About the Role:

As our Sommelier you will work with our Head Sommelier Andrea, to make sure our wine offering to the guests is both exciting, interactive and refined. Our restaurant will exude charisma and create warmth which you will play a key part in bringing every day. You will have fantastic interpersonal skills and passionate about exceptional service for our guests. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that reflects our restaurant's concept and guest preferences. 

Conduct regular tastings and training sessions for the front-of-house staff to enhance their knowledge and service skills. 

Provide exceptional wine recommendations and pairings for guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. 

Collaborate with the Beverage Manager and the Culinary team to create unique pairings that elevate seasonal menus. 

Assist in Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control for the wine program. 

Stay updated on industry trends, new wine releases, and market pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. 

 

Ideal candidate will have:  

A minimum of 1 year of experience in wine service in a restaurant or a related field. 

Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) at the Certified Sommelier level or higher. 

WSET Level 2 or 3 certification preferred. 

Strong knowledge of global wine regions, varietals, and pairings. 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey wine knowledge clearly and enthusiastically. 

A flexible schedule, with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
