As a Sonographer with CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Medical Centeryou will support Williston Health Associates by performing diagnostic testing to support our team in their efforts to properly diagnose and treat patients.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images. You’ll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients and their caregivers. With preferred experience as a Sonographer in a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each examRecognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures and provide the best image quality for documentationInstructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedureAble to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate formsMaintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the departmentPractices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policiesUtilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Graduate of an accredited college or technical program for Diagnostic Medical SonographyRequired Licensure and Certifications
Licensed by the State of North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) BoardCertification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
