**Overview**
As a Sonographer with CHI St. Alexius Health Williston Medical Center you will support Williston Health Associates by performing diagnostic testing to support our team in their efforts to properly diagnose and treat patients.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images. You’ll continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients and their caregivers. With preferred experience as a Sonographer in a Critical Access Hospital.

**We are offering a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam
+ Recognize the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal tissue structures and provide the best image quality for documentation
+ Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure
+ Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.
+ Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
+ Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
+ Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
+ Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience**
+ Graduate of an accredited college or technical program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
**Required Licensure and Certifications**
+ **Licensed by the State of North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) Board**
+ **Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)**
+ **Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS)**
**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training**
+ Strong oral communications skills
+ Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
+ Strong critical thinking skills
+ Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities

**Pay Range**
$33.60 - $48.73 /hour
