Job Summary:

Leads the daily operations of assigned department's imaging services.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - General and Vascular Sonography Depts.

Ensures quality imaging, patient care and work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations.Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Associate's degree

EXPERIENCE

Two years' experience in sonography

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS 
 

    Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)     And at least 1 RDMS or RVT certification
