Job Description

Conducts general and vascular ultrasound examinations to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data. Reviews results for quality and completeness, refers to physician for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Education/Knowledge 

Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical SonographyPreferred Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Applicable Experience

Required: 1 yearPreferred: 3 or more yearsPreferred: One year performing general and vascular exams.

Word: Basic Excel: Basic
Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology
