Responsibilities Correlate and coordinate clinical education and evaluate its effectivenessEvaluate the progress of student performance in the clinical areaAssist the Program Director in coordinating clinical educationSupervise student performance at clinical affiliatesDevelop student objectives and evaluation tools for clinical educationPerform competency based clinical evaluationsMaintain student clinical assignments and attendanceAct as resource to sonography studentsResponsible for Schedule of student clinical assignments to match established JRDMS guidelinesAssist in continuous program assessmentInstruct specific units of teaching as necessaryMaintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progressPursue continuing education in professional practice and instructional methodologyCooperate with the Program Director in periodic review and revision of clinical course materialProvide training and education to clinical preceptors Qualifications

Education/ Experience

Bachelors degree requiredGraduate of an educational program in Sonography2 years of clinical experience as a sonographerState certificate as a Sonographer

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and counseling

Travel

Travel to affiliate clinical sites
