**Mammoth Disposal** , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a **Transfer Station Attendant** **and Material Handler** to work out of our Transfer Station located in **Mammoth Lakes, CA** ! The schedule is subject to change based in business needs but will most likely be **Monday - Friday** working 8 to 10 hour shifts. **The pay range for this job category is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.** This is a great opportunity for full-time, year-round work! You will be interacting with the public, moving roll-offs, handling labor-intensive tasks on-site. Must have excellent customer service, as well as the ability to stand and do physically demanding work throughout an 8 hour shift. Responsibilities: + Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry to the center + Ensuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) + Ensuring that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material + Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment + Providing general upkeep of theScaleHouse + Heavy lifting of equipment and material + Operate a forklift and bobcat Requirements: + Customer service skillsand a great attitude + High School Diploma or equivalent + Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift + Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds + Ability to work in all weather conditions **To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at** **www.wasteconnections.com** .
