Tehama County Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Sorter to join our team in Red Bluff, CA.

The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7am to 4:40pm.

Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $21-22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities Include:

Sorting recycled material off a conveyor belt and moving material to the appropriate areas.Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.Assuming custodial duties as needed.Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.

Requirements:

Ability to perform minimal computer related tasks.Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
