Location: 56th st/ Frye rd

Shift: 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday a month for overtime.

Pay: $17.50 (pay increase to $19.50 when hired direct)

Job Description

This position involves the refurbishment of surgical instruments through a meticulous cleaning and sorting process. The role requires handling instruments ranging from 10\" to 30\" in length and operating a metal detector before the cleaning process begins. Candidates will start their shift by gowning up in clean room gear and will move bins, weighing up to 50lbs, into a dishwasher-style unit for cleaning. The job includes manual sorting, power washing, chemical cleaning of surgical instruments, labeling, and sorting them into appropriate bins. The role also includes sweeping daily and mopping twice per week.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, air-conditioned environment in a brand new facility. The role requires gowning up in full clean room gear, including a smock, booties, gloves, beard net, hair net, plastic visor, and safety glasses. Closed-toe tennis shoes and work pants/jeans with a plain shirt are required. The shift is from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday a month for overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
