My top Energy Client is seeking a Sourcing & Contract Administrator to support strategic construction projects by managing contracts, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial terms. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract administration, procurement processes, and legal compliance within a construction or utility environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:

Manage and oversee new and existing construction project agreements.Ensure major contractors comply with contractual terms and conditions.Review and process change order requests, invoices, and contractual documents.Maintain organized records of contract-related communications.

Procurement Coordination:

Support procurement activities related to large-scale construction projects.Collaborate with project teams to ensure purchasing aligns with contract terms.Work with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Legal & Compliance Management:

Serve as a liaison between project teams and legal resources for contract-related issues.Identify potential risks and escalate compliance concerns appropriately.Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Stakeholder & Vendor Communication:

Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and external vendors.Negotiate terms with suppliers and resolve disputes as needed.Facilitate smooth document exchanges and approval processes.Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or sourcing.Strong understanding of contract negotiation, invoice review, and change order processes.Experience working with construction or utility projects is a plus.Familiarity with legal and compliance requirements related to vendor contracts.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and contract management software is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in the energy, construction, or utilities sector.Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, etc.).Prior experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
