The Sourcing & Procurement supervisor within the WellMed Sourcing & Procurement Department will be responsible for the ongoing governance and oversight of all organization-wide strategies and efforts centered around supportive services, education, payment services, and business owner support for supplier management. The supervisor will facilitate as a senior subject matter expert and counselor in third-party risk and on-boarding/off-boarding third-party suppliers/vendors to the organization with a focus on customer centricity and support for our business owners of supplier relationships. The Sourcing & Procurement supervisor will be responsible for the collective oversight of junior personnel assigned. Lastly, the Sourcing & Procurement supervisor will be responsible for driving and developing innovative strategies, efforts, and strategic program implementation within the supportive services function of Sourcing & Procurement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Directly leads and accomplishes third-party supplier/vendor on-boarding and off-boarding as assigned as a subject matter expert in supplier risk Supports and leads third-party supplier/vendor business owner training and ongoing development activities Oversees third-party supplier/vendor payment services functions to include payment escalations, supportive services Leads ongoing discussions and communications between third-party suppliers/vendors and inter-organizational teams and business owners as appropriate Ensures continuous utilization and standardization of corporate policies and procedures centered on supplier management and third-party risk management Responsible for coordinating and populating reporting requests as determined by the Sourcing and Procurement Department Oversees junior team member deliverables and is responsible for triage and escalation of team issues as appropriate Successfully develops and innovates process improvement capabilities and practices Successfully navigates organizational systems, workflows, and processes to ensure timely tracking and delivery of escalated issues, trainings, assigned tasks, and other deliverables Performs all other related duties as assignedYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in a related field or 4+ years of additional experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree 1+ years of experience managing others Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams Demonstrated critical thinking aptitude and ability to execute work independently Demonstrated experience in highly dynamic environment undergoing change; ability to deal with competing priorities and simultaneous requests necessitating review and triage Proven to be highly organized and multi-task-oriented individual whom can work independently with minimal instruction or guidance Demonstrated ability to interact one-on-one and consult with all levels of executive management and individual team members as necessary Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction to individual employees on understanding people, process, and systems to ensure cohesive understanding through subject matter expertise Proven advanced proficiency in MS Office Products (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams)Preferred Qualifications:
