Job Summary
A sourcing buyers in their daily tasks such as, but not limited to: creation of purchase orders, price adjustments and other commercial agreements that must be documented in SAP, purchase orders extensions between plants, as well as other miscellaneous tasks. that the strategic buyer must assign to contribute to the company's goals.
Skills:
Bachelor´s degree (Business Administration or related)
English at a level of 80%.
Experience 3 years in sourcing buyer
Skill and knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point).
Teamwork.
Oral and verbal communication in Spanish and English.
Available to work any shift option.
Availability to provide assistance to any desk if required.
Your role:
Direct activities to resolve material delivery problems with a sense of urgency and follow up until they are resolved (if applicable).
Document and track purchases with distributors and manufacturers: deltas, quotes, material sourcing, negotiation with suppliers.
Sending RFQs.
Weekly meetings with suppliers to monitor quotes.
Spot buys and Scheduling agreements creation .
Sending Spot buys and Scheduling Agreements at least one day after their creation including correct information: prices, vendors, quantity, plant, part numbers (Aptiv and supplier).
Price confirmation to PLPL, sales and supervisor.
Support for plants that require parts, monitoring and meetings with the team.
Provide Spot buys support documentation for approval with the SCM team of approvers.
Negotiate with manufacturers/distributors better purchase terms (Price, Payment Term, Lead Time, etc…)
Process reports and requirements trackers as required by the buyer and their supervisor.
Comply with policies and procedures: 0 Non-conformities with BSI, Internal Control, internal audits of EOS and clients.
Any other work activity related to your position.
