**Job Profile Summary**
The Category Management & Strategic Sourcing – Sourcing Director reports to Tower Lead and is responsible for the end-to-end execution of the sourcing process for medium to high value and complexity sourcing and contracting initiatives. Under direction of the Tower Lead and NA Procurement Head, the incumbent develops accurate baselines and commercial sourcing strategies, coordinates supplier selection and leads contract negotiations consistent with an overall category strategy and business unit objectives. The Sourcing Director will be hands on and lead project teams that include business unit partners, subject matter experts and other sourcing professionals. and take ownership of execution and results.

**Individual Responsibilities:**
+ Lead cross-functional teams on end-to-end execution of medium to high value/complexity sourcing projects, negotiations and contracting.
+ Collect and influence requirements and conduct baseline analysis, determine sourcing strategy and execute to drive cost savings and value.
+ Focus and drive accuracy in commercials and Price * Quantity analysis.
+ Leverage market and supplier intelligence and conduct marker research to set targets to drive sourcing value in negotiations.
+ Continuous learning and expertise in IT commodities; Hardware, Software, Services and other Indirect categories
+ Establish deal teams for large sourcing engagements.
+ Proactively coordinate and schedule external resources and subject matter experts (legal, risk, finance, etc.) to complete all requirement to execute contracts.
+ Lead commercial negotiations and drive all other aspects of the contract negotiation process, with consultative support from Business Units, legal and risk.
+ Track, monitor, and manage contract renewals and procurement metrics.
+ Coordinately directly with business partners and vendor/contract managers to start renewals and RFXs early.
+ Provide strategic thought leadership to sourcing team and support leader on strategic initiatives.
+ Deliver Procurement savings for the team and aggressively drive costs improvements for the company.
**Job Requirement:**
+ Technology / IT sourcing experience and extensive knowledge of IT software/SaaS solutions/vendors
+ Undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, finance, IT or related field
+ 6+ years of progressive experience in procurement and strategic souring and solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, strategies, best practices, systems and tools
+ Tenacity to drive for sourcing value with little or no leverage in tactical negotiations
+ Analytical mind set and solid analytical skills with a keen focus on accuracy and ownership of deal commercials.
+ In-depth experience and expertise with supplier contractual terms and conditions to mitigate commercial, legal and business risks.
+ Creative problem solver, Influencer and decision maker – due diligence and attention to details are key to performing well in this role. Ability and experience presenting complex information in simple business sense is also key to driving decisions and sourcing value.
+ Team builder – builds strategic partnerships with internal clients and vendors, builds buy-in and engagement with key partners and contributes positively to the larger sourcing team.
+ Proven experience and drive to deliver aggressive procurement savings and value add, through strategic sourcing, vendor/product rationalizations and tactical negotiations.
+ Strong customer service - adept at cultivating and sustaining value-add business partnerships with internal partners at a senior executive level.

**Salary range is expected to be between**
$105,750.00 CAD - $190,350.00 CAD
