As a Sourcing Lead, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies for Powertrain and Exhaust categories in alignment with Polaris’ broader Commodity Strategy. You will manage supplier relationships to ensure top-tier delivery, quality, new product integration, and cost competitiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong negotiator who can drive cost reductions while maintaining high performance standards. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to optimize supplier performance. Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure effective communication and alignment with Polaris’ business needs.
+ Initiate requests for proposals (RFPs) and quotes for new parts and part revisions, selecting suppliers based on defined commodity strategies.
+ Evaluate supplier capabilities to ensure alignment with the overall commodity strategy and business objectives.
+ Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives, supplier exits, and tool transitions to drive savings and efficiency.
+ Lead supplier performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
+ Develop and execute multi-year commodity strategies by integrating purchasing goals, risk assessment, and long-term supply chain plans.
+ Utilize fact-based negotiation, should-cost modeling, and competitive market analysis to drive supplier cost reductions.
+ Establish long-term supplier agreements to secure cost savings and meet departmental financial targets.
+ Support supplier quality teams in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related issues.
+ Conduct make-versus-buy analyses, prepare and issue RFQs and RFPs, and contribute to key business decisions.
+ Collaborate across multiple departments to support new product development, production planning, and ongoing supplier management.
+ Proactively manage supplier capacity, lead times, and production schedules to prevent shortages and delays.
+ Provide cross-functional leadership by coordinating schedules and resources between operations, engineering, and procurement teams.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 4+ years of relevant supply chain experience in procurement, sourcing, or commodity management.
+ Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with business goals.
+ Experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functionally and present to leadership.
+ Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
+ Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret engineering documentation and technical data.
+ Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (MAPICS preferred), web-based business tools, and project management methodologies.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools to deliver impactful business updates.
+ Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

**The pay range for Minnesota is $72,000 to $95,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.**
