Position Specific Description

Our Integrated Supply Chain Business Unit is looking for a Sourcing Leader to join their team in our Corporate Office, Juno Beach, FL.

This Sourcing Leader role is specific to the sourcing of material(s) related items in support of our various operating business units (Power Generation, Power Delivery, and Nuclear).  Responsibilities will include leading and managing all phases of the material sourcing and procurement function, including the day-to-day performance of a designated team of Sourcing Specialists.  This role will evaluate and identify the needs of the enterprise as they relate to various inventory and non-inventory material requirements to support outage work or planned maintenance activities and projects.  This role will also have responsibility beyond demand management to insure the on-time delivery of ordered materials while also driving cost efficiencies within the supplier base.  Sourcing Leaders are also expected to cultivate strong relationships with internal stake holders as well as key suppliers within the industry.  Additional areas of focus could include but not limited to process improvements, market research and analysis and the development of long-term sourcing strategies. 

Job Overview

This position uses Six Sigma and Quality Improvement (QI) Story tools and techniques to coach and lead teams in key business improvement projects. A leader in this role leads teams comprised of cross-departmental members, to execute on business improvement efforts and projects assigned by management.
