This position is part of the Supply Chain department located in Fargo, North Dakota and will be Onsite. You will be a part of the Procurement Team and report to the Sr Manager of Procurement responsible for developing a strategy for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts and achieving annual cost savings targets. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:•Data Analysis: Analyzing data related to purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers. This includes negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring a reliable supply of goods and services.•Cost Reduction: Identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency. Monitoring market trends to identify price fluctuations and opportunities for cost reduction.•Contract Management: Reviewing and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with organizational policies.•Market Research: Conducting research to understand market trends, pricing, and the availability of goods and services.•Compliance: Ensuring that procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. The essential requirements of the job include:•Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering or Finance•3+ years working experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or related field with the ability to analyze and assimilate data into decisions•Ability to work in a team environment while exercising adaptability, flexibility and good communication with excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. •Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time and often under tight timelines• 1+ years of production/process technologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, OEE, TPM etc. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:•Project Management, Supplier Management, Manufacturing and New Product Commercialization Experience•Chemical/or pharmaceutical experience preferred•Experience in a regulated environment such as cGMP, ISO, or FDA preferred•Experience should show increasing responsibilities This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
