LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role will be accountable for the development and execution of sourcing plans for all direct spend categories and Logistics (warehouse, transportation) across functions in locally/ regionally/ globally. To ensure compliance of all procurement activities adhere with global policies, standards, and platforms to deliver robust terms and conditions that lead BAT’s service delivery and commercial risk.

Deliver the Co-Plan Savings Target to achieve Direct Savings and contribute to the Cost Reduction Program in accordance with agreed savings targets and payment term extensionEnsuring and driving sustainability policy and corporate social responsibility program (Ecovadis / Intertek)Support Portfolio, Marketing activities, NPI projects and continue to deliver the WMS localization journey/ Spec harmonizationSupport compliance to Sanctions, Risk Assessment, SOBC / SoX Compliance to ensure the “Deliver with Integrity” agenda is achieved in line with a step change in controls & complianceConduct Supplier Performance Review for key suppliers and lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with effective WMS Contingency Plan / Contract ManagementAct as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the region, where required, and input into supplier business reviewsFacilitate negotiations for local suppliers within scope to ensure business continuity supply including contracts renewal is in placeSuccessful adoption of suppliers to the e-auction platform & Business analysis e.g., procurement positioning and spend analysisESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in: Economy, Business, Supply Chain or similarDemonstrated ability in Procurement or other related experience with at least 5 years' of working experienceHigh level of Commercial Awareness and Project ManagementStrong business insight and interpersonal & communication skillsA focus on service delivery and savings along with the ability to drive innovation and changeKnowledge of procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including advanced negotiation& influencing skillsAbility to perform in cross-functional, global, business environment and balance multiple tasks successfullyDetailed knowledge of supply market, supplier capabilities, competitor activity, and expected trends at a geographicFamiliar with e-auctionExperience in both Direct and Indirect Procurement is an added advantageWhat we offer you?
