The RoleThe Honest Company is looking for a Sourcing Manager who will be a key member of our Operations team! The Sourcing Manager will work closely with the Product, Legal, Quality, Finance/Accounting and other operational teams to drive our overall supplier strategy in order to support company growth, product quality and cost goals.
What you’ll do:
Conduct comprehensive supplier analysis, including strategic direction, financial health/risk due diligence, market and industry position, capabilities and capacity and risk assessment Identify, operationally vet, onboard and manage overall relationship with new suppliers, which will serve as a strategic fit for the business on a go forward basis, whether for BCP, dual source, or existing supplier base capability gap purposes Lead and facilitate the supplier selection for new product development projects and assigned categories, including full RFQ and negotiation process and be able to present a TCO analysis justifying strategic supplier selection Partner with legal and quality teams to deliver agreements that include acceptable terms and conditions, service level/performance criteria and effective remedies for non-performance that will enable long-term partnerships with our supplier base Work with internal teams in order to provide timely updates on critical project and supplier milestones so the business can achieve desired goals Analyze supplier performance and renegotiate contracts, assess new supplier relationships or consolidate supplier relationships as necessary Negotiate and implement cost-saving programs with suppliers, such as volume-based discounts, better payment terms, lead time improvements, etc Establish new sourcing strategies on finished goods, raw materials and components as the company grows and expands DCs, geographical reach, product assortment and sales channelsYou’ll love this job if you’re:

MBA C.P.M. Sourcing and procurement experience in beauty, personal care, wipes, and or diapersCompensation
The pay range for this role is $100,600-$138,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
