Sourcing Manager - Manufacturing
**Job Title: Sourcing Manager - Manufacturing** **FLSA Status: Exempt** **Department: Manufacturing** **POSITION SUMMARY** The Sourcing Manager – Manufacturing is responsible for negotiating all supply chain and purchasing contracts for cost efficiencies and strategic objectives of the business. Oversee processes, procedures and suggestions regarding sourcing for manufacturing. This role will initiate and direct the creation of process improvement tools and programs and will resolve issues or concerns related to supplier relationships. This is a cross-functional role within a national organization providing guidance and making sound decisions while fulfilling the organization’s needs in alignment to the operational objectives. **PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Establish clear goals that align manufacturing sourcing with the organization’s goals. + Drive beneficial outcomes through sourcing strategies, price negotiations, contracting and sales support to reduce costs and improve quality. + Develop a supplier management program with key suppliers to include metrics, risk profile, performance goals, ASL management, quality and improvement initiatives. + Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures. Audits and adjusts existing contracts to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. + Identify opportunities for process improvement. + Ensure business benefits are realized and that risks inhibiting realization are eliminated or escalated as needed. + Follow QMS process and procedures. + Work with procurement teams as needed for parts impacted by shortage or obsolescence. + Relay pertinent information involving suppliers and/or specific parts to key stakeholders including purchasing, operations, sustaining engineering, research and development and quality. + Work with procurement team to build and maintain supplier relationships. + Lead purchasing in cost reduction efforts. + Work closely with product management and engineering teams to support NPI. + Engage suppliers with quality issues alongside the quality engineers and/or supplier quality team. + Work closely with manufacturing and design teams across to resolve operational issues. + Partner with Quality and Compliance. + Mentor and direct purchasing or sourcing activities and objectives. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field + Five years’ supply chain experience. + Able to travel as needed, up to 50%. **REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES** + High level of financial and business/operations acumen + Strong organizational skills, with ability to engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously. + Advanced oral and written communication skills. + High degree of initiative, independent judgement and professionalism. + Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Strong attention to detail. + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 products. + Ability to navigate and lead through change. + Strong presentation skills. _It is the policy of Agiliti to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a veteran, military service, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local civil rights laws.
