Sourcing Specialist
Job Title: Sourcing Specialist Job Description - 2-5 years experience in buying/procurement/purchasing - IT/Telecom or Professional Services sourcing strongly preferred - Experience in negotiating pricing and terms - Knowledge of indemnifications (such as limitation of liability) - Understanding of contractual terms My client is seeking procurement professionals to support the deal life cycle for its Banking and Investments Categories. Support includes overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including contract and price negotiation and support of strategic sourcing engagements. Responsibilities: 1. Own pipeline of low and medium complexity sourcing engagements under $250k for assigned category. Will be assigned engagements over $250K based on demand and development. 2. Support Category Leads on high complexity engagements and assist with requisition and purchase order creation. 3. Establish effective negotiation plans and guide internal clients through contracting process. 4. Partner with Category Leads to establish sourcing execution plans through competitive bids, evaluation agreements, supplier consolidation, and co-terming. 5. Effectively partner with other Category Teams, Supplier Management, Vendor Management Offices, Internal Clients, and Third-Party Risk Management as needed. 6. Engage with business requestor to identify requirements and formulate them into specific competitive bid documentation. 7. Own end-to-end competitive bidding process. 8. Ensure the application of fair business practices and consistent procurement of products and services. 9. Continually examine ways to raise standards and improve processes and procedures while improving the overall performance of ESM. 10. Support departmental process and technology initiatives. 11. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 8 Month(s). Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Malvern, Pennsylvania and some days remote.
