Job Description
Act as the primary point of contact for sourcing-related activities for assigned commodities. Implement inventory optimization strategies within the company. Develop and expand category knowledge in support of sourcing projects. Administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. Support Purchasing Agents focused on day-to-day activities. Request quotations for material and services, evaluate bids for pricing and delivery commitments. Perform data collection for all spend data based on assigned commodities. Perform sourcing activities as part of cross-functional teams. Update and maintain vendor files in the system. All other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and Researching Suppliers: identify and evaluate potential suppliers, assessing their capabilities and qualifications to determine the best fit for the company's needsNegotiate Contracts and Prices: negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the company gets the best value for its moneyManaging Supplier Relationships: maintain and manage relationships with suppliers, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that suppliers meet the company's requirementsCollaborating with Other Departments: work closely with departments like procurement, production, and logistics to ensure the supply chain runs smoothlyIdentifying Cost Savings Opportunities: look for ways to reduce costs, such as negotiating better prices or finding alternative suppliersManaging Purchase Orders: handle the purchase order process, from issuing orders to tracking deliveries and reconciling invoicesMaintaining Supplier Performance Metrics: track and evaluate supplier performance using metrics like on-time delivery and qualityStaying Updated with Market Trends: keep up with market trends, new products, technologies, and suppliers to make informed sourcing decisionsEssential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Operations, Business Administrative, or RelatedMinimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or managing suppliersMinimum of 1 year of experience in contracting/negotiation processes and best practicesStrong communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skillsCollaborative in nature to ensure all stakeholders are managed and engaged when appropriateFlexibility and the ability to work independentlyAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with negotiation, SAP ERP, commodity management, cost reductionWork Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00
AutoEnrollment: NEW HIRES, who have not enrolled in the Plan within 30 days from date of hire, will be
automatically enrolled in the Plan at a deferral rate of 3% of pretax eligible earnings

Full-time employees are granted up to 40 hours of vacation time after six (6) months of service and another 40
hours at their one (1) year employment anniversary. Credit maybe given for experience within the career field
of hire or industry related experience.
