Responsibilities Hire, train, and manage staff regularly with the approval and assistance of the Executive Chef and Human ResourcesResponsible for completing performance appraisals for staff within the department in accordance with company policyScheduling of kitchen staff according to budget and business forecast Develop additions to menuMonitor inventory levels of commonly used itemsEnsures that all kitchen equipment is in good working orderMaintains good working relationship with the Front House ManagersConducts daily meetings with servers and kitchen staff to discuss additions to menu and to resolve any operation concerns Qualifications Arizona Food Handlers Sanitation Card requiredCulinary Degree or two years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar roleAbility to track expenses and manage a budgetGreat interpersonal and communication skillsMust understand, speak, read and write fluent EnglishMust be able to lift at least 50 lbsJob Location: 35 West Brown Road, Mesa, Arizona 85201
