Hotel Website, Instagram, Facebook Overview As a Spa and Fitness Manager, you would be responsible for managing operations of all the fitness facilities, fitness, and wellness activations, and resort membership in a manner that delivers an excellent guest and member experience while managing the fitness team and guest relationships. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Manage daily spa and fitness operations of Tierra Luna in a manager on duty role Manage team members to ensure high motivation, empower them to provide of high-quality service and ongoing development based on service sequences and standards. Main point of contact for all spa group sales, including in-house groups and local groups to maximize all areas of revenue. Contact meeting planners to establish spa and wellness related activities and blocks based upon group schedule and availability. Ensure all contracts are executed promptly. Attend all pre-cons and on-site planning meetings with sales, catering and conference services departments Relay all pertinent spa group sales information to spa leadership and pertinent stake holders. Effectively manage all communications and task specific lists via the use of Asana and teams applications as needed. Ensure all group activity is processed correctly in the POS system, while providing each meeting planner with updates on all charges posted. Produce Spa Group Resumes and distribute / communicate all information to spa staff via email, verbal written communications, and whiteboard. Provide continuous updates to ensure each group has an exceptional experience. Conduct site inspections of spa, fitness, and recreation related areas to showcase the potential programs for each group. Monitor and ensure the highest level of guest service is provided in the spa, fitness, and recreation areas. This includes Forbes Standards as applicable. Oversee all Spa Attendant trackers and payroll related services. Ensure all hours and time edits are submitted on a timely basis and review all PTO requests with Assistant Spa Director. Submit all payroll to Assistant Spa Director for approval. Complete required month end reports, forecasts, payroll, and monitoring of team member hours worked. Use technology solutions to maintain supplies and inventories, operate an on-line booking platform for fitness classes, scheduling and payroll. Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain required security checklists related to safety and cleanliness of equipment and ensure all department procedures are followed. Ensure health, safety and OSHA regulations are compiled throughout the facilities. Assist Tierra Luna Spa Management with the recruiting, managing, training and development of the team and support when required. Conduct pre-shifts and spa walk-throughs on a daily basis. Monitor Yelp and Google reviews and respond in timely manner. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, the pursuit of wellness, and providing unforgettable experiences. Additionally, we're looking for the following qualifications: At least two (2) years of leadership experience, required At least two (2) years experience in a spa and/or fitness environment, required Ability to motivate team members Ability to oversee wellness, family, and fitness programming and an interest in developing new concepts Administrative abilities that leverage current technology Excellent grooming standards A focus on developing team members and self A flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations An ability to work on your own or in teams with a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications: Luxury resort experience Relevant fitness qualifications (certified personal trainer, Yoga or fitness instructor) An interest to learn or an ability to play Pickleball and Tennis Functional knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and MS Teams Experience with Book4Time, Amadeus FDC (Delphi), or BirchStreet
