Job Description
Key Responsibilities • Provide a welcoming environment to our guests by demonstrating consistent high levels of service. • Assure the following areas are clean and tidy at all times: locker room, public areas, gym, and pool. • Responsible for monitoring fitness facilities ensuring positive and friendly customer relations. • Observes all activity within assigned areas offering assistance and instruction to guests/visitors. • Follow Spa opening procedures. Be familiar with all hotel packages, promotions, prices and rates. • Set and maintain water/tea stations. Maintain newspapers & magazines. Greet guests. • Maintain knowledge of hours of operation, memberships, reservations, rentals, fees, products and merchandise. • Escort guests to locker room • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all Rosewood Spa policies/service procedures/standards. • Responsible for ensuring a smooth Spa experience to our guests. • Maintains impeccable standards of room and personal cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. • Ensures compliance to all hotel policies, programs, and core practices. • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 1 year experience in a luxury spa environment, preferably within a luxury hotel. A background in fitness education and/or health related discipline is an asset. • Knowledge of SpaSoft is an asset. • Fluency in written and oral communication in English. • Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 10-15 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding. • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
