Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining the reception and retail areas of the Spa while providing a positive and friendly attitude. Assist with scheduling, answering phones, check-in and out of appointments while partaking in genuine interactions that provide the highest level of guest service.
Essential Job Functions:
Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members. Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner. The ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task-oriented environment. Be able to schedule appointments with accuracy and in a timely manner in person and over the phone. Candidate must demonstrate computer knowledge with proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft office and outlook. Handles the computer booking system and all cash handling procedures with accuracy and ease. Answer phones promptly and friendly. Work well under pressure and handle multiple guests at one time. Knowledge of all spa treatments, salon services and retail items with the intent to suggest service offerings to best tailor the client’s needs The ability to suggest, sell, and provide detailed descriptions of spa services and retail items Maintain bar levels and stock retail times, spa brochures and office supplies Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1-2 years Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience.
· Poses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining enthusiasm and excellent customer skills.
· Must be multitask oriented.
· Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills.
· Must be able to tolerate a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement
Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
· Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
· Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 8-hour shift).
