Spa Coordinator - PT
SUMMARY:
To service all customers and guests of the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon to the highest possible standards of guest service. To maintain the highest possible cleanliness standards, while also delivering personalized guest experience. To establish guest ownership in resolving guest challenges in delivering stellar guest service.  This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Know, understand, and adhere to the policies, procedures, and SOP’s of the Corporation and Spa Operations Department.
• Provide a positive guest service experience to each guest including but not limited to courtesy, sincerity and enthusiasm to all guests of the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon.
• Schedule appointments for Spa and Salon services, taking into consideration the timing of the services and the best practice order of those services.
• Be an expert about the products and services available within the Spa and Salon to better make recommendations to the guests inquiring about the retail products and services offered at the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon.
• Enthusiastically greet each guest as they enter and exit the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of each guest.
• Strictly adhere to the Policies and Procedures with regard to money handling and PCI compliance by maintaining accurate records of receipts by collecting, totaling and submitting all receipts and cash as specified by the policies, procedures, and SOP’s of the Spa Operations Department.
• When Opening/Closing the Spa and Salon Facilities each day secures the area by ensuring the premises are locked and all electrical equipment has been turned off.
• Professionally answer booking, informational, and courtesy reminder telephone calls.
• Clean, stock, and maintain the environment of the Fitness Facilities.
• Clean, stock, and maintain the environment of the Spa Facilities.
• Complete daily checklists for Opening and Closing both Front Desk and Men’s and Women’s Spas
• Maintain an environment of personal luxury and attention to detail for each and every guest that is using the Golden Nugget Spa and Salon facilities.
• Count and verify the linen and terry used in the operation of the Spa and Fitness Facilities
• Clean, stock, and maintain the environment of the Back of House areas within the Spa Operations.
• Deliver promptly daily reports to management by gathering needed information from SpaSoft.
• Clean, stock, and maintain the Atrium, Front Desk, and Retail areas of the Spa Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Ability to manage employees, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED
• Six months experience as a Beauty Salon Receptionist or similar position.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.
