Job Summary: Responsible for providing exceptional Guest Service while administering professional facials, waxing services and an array of body treatments; Must have thorough knowledge of the skin and have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques as well as possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation practices. Responsibilities: Provide consistent and professional facial and body treatments in accordance with Tenaya Stone Spa protocols and accepted certification practicesAbility to effectively perform all spa treatments and services as defined by the position being performedProperly care for equipment and use proper amounts of products to be cost effectiveMust uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and Tenaya Stone Spa’s policies and procedurePerform prep work and properly clean and restock room as requiredActively promote spa, treatments, services, merchandise and programs while meeting goalsHandle Guests questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvide courteous, accurate and prompt responses to Guests’ requests to ensure Guest satisfactionAttend mandatory training to maintain knowledge of current spa policies, procedures and trendsMust be able to perform all esthetic treatments offered by Resort spaAdditional leadership opportunities may be available that would require completion of an additional practical assessment Basic Qualifications: You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this roleMust currently hold and maintain state Esthetician license (with State of California)Previous experience in a spa or hotel environmentAbility to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently, while confidently utilizing service recovery methodsPossess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating GuestsStrong verbal communication skillsMust have enthusiasm and possess excellent guest service skillsReceptive to special requests and proactive in anticipating Guests needsKnowledgeable about The Disneyland® Resort and surrounding area Preferred Qualifications: Previous leadership experience in a spa environmentBasic computer knowledge Additional Information: SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Casual Regular Cast Members must be available to work Friday evenings/Saturday/Sundays and all peak seasons, as well as available to work all holidays.
